Our Story

How it all started...

Pastors Jim and Brenda Moore began serving as lead pastors in 2011. Having answered the call to serve God in the San Francisco Bay Area, both pastors agreed to step away from their lives in northern Nevada and started working with a few families of an existing congregation, in San Bruno, CA, situated on the peninsula.

Over the years, the church has found it necessary to reimagine the way we help meet and serve the needs of our changing community, and today we are not only growing in our love for God, but for one another in the church and for those within our different neighborhoods.

Expanding the vision...

In 2020, we were affected by the restrictions caused by the Covid-19 virus and needed to pivot by gathering in smaller groups on-line. And now that we have returned to meeting again in-person, we continue to work towards improving and expanding our digital options to better serve those who are not yet able or willing to meet in person during the week.

Where we are headed...

As we look to the future, we imagine micro-expressions of the church being developed and deployed across the different neighborhoods and cities of our existing and growing faith community. This should not only help us, as the church, to be closer to the needs but to listen, reflect, and serve a larger number of people, languages, and cultures.

Since technology is making it easier for the church to expand its reach, we continue to learn and adapt in order to present the Gospel of Jesus to people all across the globe. Yet, our first priority is to help those who are within our immediate reach and desire to stay in contact with us.

And to those we connect with, we aim to build a life and legacy of love.
